I am Melodie, eldest of the Turori Tan Clan. When I tell people that I am the oldest of five a typical response is, “oh, that means you’re the boss!” I always laugh and reply that I wish that were the case. However, I am responsible for 90% of the content on this website, so at minimum, that makes me The Boss of our blog.

Let’s see, a little about me…
I work
I am the Digital Content Coordinator for Sportscasters Talent Agency of America. That is a fancy way of saying that I spend all day at my computer in my home “office” (office = the sweet standup desk that I DIYed), working on everything from writing HTML code for the website to editing videos to tweeting. Yes, I am sometimes paid to Tweet and post on Facebook. This is both awesome and weird. I’ve worked at STAA for almost nine years (what?!) and it’s freaking awesome. In fact, I love it so much that this year I quite freelancing so that I can focus on STAA.
I create
I fancy myself a bit of a photographer. I write a little more frequently on my personal blog. I am working on a documentary called Spirit of Tivaevae.
That’s probably enough about me. If you are super dying to know more about me, we can totally hang out in person. We’ll get tacos or coffee or find a cafe and read in silence together. You know you want to!
